name. The Kayuidou siblings
(formerly known in Japan as
"Nakasoto") have been hard
at work, strengthening their
sound, while delving into more
complex theories of rhythm
and motion within their music.

jimmi
Jimmi Kayuidou, age 24, is the founding member of Tweezerspring. Born in Osaka, Japan and raised since age 11 in London, Jimmi has a well-rounded idea of what makes music speak to us as human beings.

Jimmi says, "Sometime we are trying to juss be... um onry da music and not...um... in da bodies. We are like da... uh... da sound dat you can hear sometime. It is a happy."

donnatella
Donnatella, 20, was born and raised in Osaka and moved with Jimmi and Koko to New York in 1999. She lends rhythmic ideas to Tweezerspring's compositions and also inspires the trio with interpretive dance.

Donnatella says, "I rike da song dat hab da more... tuting... and da horny. It is a make me dancer. And arso, I rike how when it is loud and den so so so quiet ...rear fast."

koko
Koko, 17, lived in Japan, England, and Germany before moving to NYC with her siblings. She writes the vocals and colaborates with Jimmi on keyboards.

Koko says, "...whatever, dude. I just do it 'cause I love it. You're just trying to make me say shit so I can come off like a bitch because I'm bald.  This is a conspiracy."
